Las Vegas Shooting Victims Sued by MGM Resorts

More than 1,000 victims of the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Hotel Shooting are being sued by MGM who owns the hotel. The MGM Resorts is suing the victims in an attempt to have the federal court rule that it cannot be held liable for the shooting of the 1,000 victims named in the lawsuit. The company is only naming the victims in the suit or those who have given notice that they intend to sue. Oregon Woman Survives Cliff Crash

An Oregon woman is thanking her lucky stars after being stranded on a beach for seven days before being found. Angela Hernandez, 23, says that on July 6th she was passing through Big Sur, California when an animal darted in front of her car, in order to miss the creature she swerved but the highway she was on had no shoulder and Hernandez’s car plunged off the side of the cliff. The police have decided to release the body cam footage of Saturday’s police-involved shooting in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago in the 2000 block of East 71st Street. Around 5:30 pm officers say they saw a man with a gun and attempted to question him then a confrontation broke out and the man ended up being shot and dying.
